Tattoos are becoming a very popular way for a person to express themselves; however, these art pieces are meant to be permanent, and at times this ends up with people looking to laser tattoo removal. Ex-partners' names are a very popular reason for wanting to get the ink removed; you also have embarrassing tattoos which were done when people were young and even a dream job such as the army and other jobs which frown upon tattoos are all other popular reasons for wanted to erase the ink from your body. Thanks to the advancement of technology surgery has become a more trustworthy way to get rid of any unwanted ink safely, but is this insanely expensive method really worth all the money and pain when there are actually other methods out there that you can go on to use?
Laser Tattoo Removal
This process has a lot of detail behind it but to keep it short a high intensity laser attacks your tattoo pigments in the skin and this breaks them into tiny particles allowing your body to get rid of them. The process can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on the size of the tattoo and you will have to go to a few sessions over a few weeks to months to remove the full effect of the tattoo.
The cost of this method is extremely expensive and can range from twice to triple the amount you paid for the tattoo to be done (and sometimes even more!) and the pain is also more than it was getting the tattoo done too.
Finally the side-effects for this method include scarring, abrasions and the skin growing back lighter or darker than it was before the procedure.

Chemical Peel
Chemical peel is becoming a very wide used way to get rid of unwanted ink. All you have to do is put the chemical onto your skin and a controlled burn occurs which breaks up the tattoo pigment and the skin will peel (with the ink) and scab over with new skin. You will have to go through this many times to make sure that the full effect occurs.
This method is cheaper than the laser surgery but it can be a bit painful and sometimes it may not work as well and too has the side-effect of scarring the skin.

Natural Methods
Many people don't even know that natural methods are available but in my opinion they are the best alternative to laser tattoo removal. They don't leave you with any scarring, abrasions and are very cheap too when you compare them to the other methods.
I can't tell you which method to use but as you can tell these are very effective laser tattoo removal alternatives to use but it is down to you to decide which one you would prefer to use.
